Informazioni sui Tankard
I Tankard sono un gruppo thrash metal nato a Francoforte (Germania) nel 1982. Dopo aver perso il loro chitarrista fecero uscire il loro primo disco Zombie Attack, nel 1986. Da lì in poi il gruppo ha continuato a fare canzoni e album con lo stesso stile; un thrash metal molto veloce e con tematiche in onore dell'alcool. Per questo il gruppo sostiene di aver inventato un nuovo genere, chiamato "alcoholic metal". I Tankard si sono anche proclamati "Kings of Beer" (re della birra), con riferimento alla figura folkloristica di Gambrinus.
