Crowbar

I Crowbar (levachiodi in inglese) sono un gruppo sludge metal originario di New Orleans. Il gruppo è nato nel 1989 dall'iniziativa di Kirk Windstein, chitarra e voce; gli altri membri comprendevano Kevin Noonan (chitarra), Todd Strange (basso) e Craig Numenmacher (batteria). La musica del gruppo è massiccia, oppressiva e disperata, influenzata dai Melvins e dai Black Sabbath ed è stata definita, negli anni, anche come doom-core o sludgecore, tutte espressioni che ben identificano il sound dei Crowbar.
