Informazioni sui Down
I Down sono un gruppo musicale sludge metal originario di New Orleans. La band è nata nel 1991 e all'inizio comprendeva 5 ragazzi che suonavano già in altri gruppi, più o meno famosi: Phil Anselmo (voce, Pantera, Superjoint Ritual), Pepper Keenan (chitarra, Corrosion of Conformity), Kirk Windstein (chitarra, Crowbar), Rex Brown (basso, Pantera) e Jimmy Bower (batteria, Crowbar e chitarra, Superjoint Ritual e Eyehategod). I cinque avevano in comune l'amore per i Black Sabbath, per il doom metal, per l'hardcore/punk e per la loro città, New Orleans.
La band ha pubblicato 3 album in studio:
