I Weezer sono un gruppo statunitense alternative rock/emo (appartenente alla seconda ondata) proveniente da Los Angeles, California, fondato nel 1992 e composto da Rivers Cuomo (voce, chitarra ritmica), Patrick Wilson (batteria, cori), Matt Sharp (basso, cori), e Jason Cropper (chitarra solista, cori), con gli ultimi due sostituiti poi da Scott Shriner e Brian Bell. Hanno pubblicato tredici album, sei EP, e un DVD; il loro primo album è stato ristampato e ripubblicato varie volte. La band ha venduto più di 10 milioni di album negli Stati Uniti.
