Helloween

Gli Helloween sono un gruppo musicale power metal tedesco nati ad Amburgo nel 1983 dal chitarrista Kai Hansen.
Gli Helloween sono considerati tra i capostipiti del sottogenere power metal grazie e soprattutto ai due album Keeper of the Seven Keys - Part I e Keeper of the Seven Keys - Part II cantati da Michael Kiske,voce storica del gruppo.Dal 2016 il gruppo è formato da Andi Deris (voce), Michael Weikath (chitarra), Sascha Gerstner (chitarra), Markus Großkopf (basso) e Daniel Löble (batteria).La prima formazione era composta da Kai Hansen (voce-chitarra),Michael Weikath (chitarra),Markus Großkopf (basso) e Ingo Schwichtenberg (batteria).
Il nome Helloween nasce durante la prima prova del gruppo: «Era la sera di Halloween del 1984,e dato che volevamo fare musica "hellish" Markus propose questo giro di parole».
