Gli In Flames sono un gruppo musicale melodic death metal svedese. Nata nel 1990 per volere di Jesper Strömblad, ex-membro dei Ceremonial Oath, che lasciò nel 1991. Insieme a Dark Tranquillity, At the Gates e Soilwork, la band ha contribuito alla nascita, la crescita e lo sviluppo del death metal melodico svedese.
