George Lynch (Spokane, 28 settembre 1954) è un chitarrista heavy metal statunitense, noto soprattutto per essere stato membro dei Dokken.
È considerato un virtuoso della chitarra (guitar hero), esponente di una lunga serie di talenti quali Steve Lukather, Eddie Van Halen, Randy Rhoads, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Steve Morse, Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Michael Schenker, Matthias Jabs, John Corabi, Reb Beach, Marty Friedman, Vito Bratta emersi alla fine degli anni settanta o nei primissimi anni ottanta e dotati tutti di una notevole tecnica.
