Informazioni sui The Decemberists
The Decemberists sono una indie folk rock band da Portland, Oregon, Stati Uniti, capitanati dal cantante/compositore Colin Meloy. Gli altri membri della band sono Chris Funk (polistrumentista), Jenny Conlee (organo Hammond, accordion, melodica, pianoforte, tastiere), Nate Query (basso elettrico, contrabbasso), e John Moen (percussioni, cori, melodica).
Il loro esordio avvenne con l'EP autoprodotto, 5 Songs, nel 2001. Fino al 2019 il gruppo ha pubblicato otto album, l'ultimo dei quali è "I'll be your Girl".
