I The Ocean, precedentemente noti come The Ocean Collective, sono un gruppo post-metal sperimentale fondato a Berlino, Germania, nel 2000.
Il loro lavoro combina efficacemente elementi progressive con elementi orchestrali e le sfuriate post-hardcore tipiche dei Converge. La band spesso descrive il suo sound come ambient soundtrack doom-rock.
